How to Train Your Dragon

So, late last year I had the privilege of doing some work on How to Train Your Dragon. Chris Sanders and Dean Deblois had just come onto the film and wanted to redesign Toothless, Hiccup and the Green Death. At the time, they were pretty open to anything, even suggesting that the Green Death might not be a dragon.

I also did some color/tonal passes on a couple of sequences from the film. The compositions are based on the extremely talented Tron Mai's boards; a heckuva a story artist with a REALLY cool name;)
