CORALINE STUFF!!!

So, Laika has finally posted some animation from Coraline.  There are a lot of amazingly talented people working their butts off on this film and I can't wait to see more.  Check it out!

Searle assignment

As mentioned before, all the character designers at work have been teaching a workshop at the studio. For the final assignment we wanted to give the class a more real world assignment. We asked them to imagine that Dreamworks was developing three new properties (Flash Gordon, Conan or Three Musketeers) and that the fictional director wanted the property to be styled after Ronald Searle.

As with all the assignments, the instructors participate as well. Here's mine.
